Around The World With Cantor Debbi
Your destination wedding is planned and the details are coming along beautifully – but – WHO is going to officiate your wedding?
Many international resorts provide a “minister” of the government, or church, but if you are planning a Jewish/Interfaith wedding, you may not like this option.
Now, you can have your “very own Cantor” at your wedding, anywhere in the world. I have been so fortunate as to perform weddings in the beautiful Mayan Riviera (Playa del Carmen), the Caribbean (St. Thomas, St. Maarten) and Puerto Rico, not to mention Aruba, California, The Bahamas and many more locations.
It’s easier than you might think, and I bring the same warmth, passion, and personalization abroad, as you will find right here at home. And because I’m obsessed with making your wedding the perfect day, I also recognize that many international planners are not well versed in the Jewish/Interfaith wedding traditions or rituals, so I work very closely with them to ensure your ceremony and celebration are perfectly orchestrated.
Many couples choose to have their “official” ceremony at home – at a courthouse office, which I recommend. You never want to have to return to the government office where you were married to retrieve a lost copy of your marriage license, so having it filed at home is the best bet. You can still treat your wedding day as the official wedding day, but for paperwork purposes, it’s always best to do that at home.
I’d love to talk to you about your destination wedding! Call today for more information, or drop me a line.
